Man, Cup Noodles is basically a playground for crazy ideas.
When I was at Dentsu, I had the chance to create the launch campaign for Cup Noodles’ feijoada flavor. Yes: feijoada-flavored Cup Noodles.
To tell that story, we brought back the Cupmanzinhos, characters who already had their own web series. In season two, they had to face The Mysterious Samba Troll, an unlikely mix of Houdini and a Rio samba dancer who brought a whole lot of ziriguidum into their lives.
The result was five episodes packed with chaos, samba and just the right amount of mystery.

But, obviously, we didn’t stop there.
We created a launch promotion across the brand’s social channels: people who came up with the best answers to the question “What would you do with 12 Cupmanzinhos?” could win a kit featuring all 12 characters, a tiny throne made of forks and every single essential a Cupmanzinho family could ever need.
Not to mention the iconic photoshoot featuring this squad of extremely uncooperative models.
